Anna John is our dearly cherished, behind-the-scenes Practice Manager. Faithful, and trustworthy, she consistently works hard at bookkeeping, marketing, and all of the administrative work involved in managing a growing practice.

Future Dentist

Amy is our future dentist. She will be joining our practice soon, following in the footsteps of her dad. She is currently attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. In her spare time, she helps the team with dental assisting and patient care management.

Gala

Dental Hygienist

Gala is a multi-talented individual with a diverse set of skills and accomplishments. Since 2013, she has been a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist, providing top-quality care to her patients. In addition to her career in dentistry, Gala is a proud wife and mother of two dogs, which she considers to be part of her family.

Her passion for learning and personal growth led her to pursue a Master of Health Studies degree from TWU, which she completed with distinction. Her academic achievements reflect her dedication to excellence and her commitment to staying up to date with the latest developments in the field.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Gala is also a gifted photographer, specializing in portrait and branding photography. Her artistic eye and technical expertise allow her to capture stunning images that showcase the unique personality and character of her subjects.

Practice Coordinator/Marketing Director

Greetings, and thank you for taking the time to read my professional bio. My name is Ann, and I have the pleasure of serving as Dr. John's Practice Coordinator at Advanced Dentistry. I joined the team in September 2022, bringing with me over two decades of experience in the dental industry.

My passion for dentistry began in 1992 when I received my associate in medical business degree from San Jacinto College. I went on to earn my associate in dental hygiene degree from Wharton County Junior College in 1999. These degrees provided me with a solid foundation in dental care and business operations, enabling me to pursue a range of roles, including dental assistant, front desk staff, insurance coordinator, manager, and dental hygienist.

In 2009, I realized my dream of becoming an entrepreneur by opening my own dental assisting school. Over the next decade, I owned and operated the school, training the next generation of dental assistants while simultaneously launching several dental offices from the ground up. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on the dental industry, and I take pride in sharing my knowledge with patients and colleagues alike.

At Advanced Dentistry, I work closely with Dr. Varghese P. John and our team to provide exceptional dental care to our patients. Whether you need routine cleanings or complex procedures, I am confident in our ability to help you achieve and maintain a healthy smile.

When I am not working, I enjoy exploring new places, capturing memories through photography, watching baseball games, and spending time outdoors with my family and two furry companions. I have been a Houstonian for over 46 years and currently reside in Sugar Land with my husband and stepson.

Front Desk and Patient Coordinator

Hello, I am Yvette, and I am thrilled to be a part of Advanced Dentistry since the beginning of 2022. Although new to the practice, I bring with me a wealth of experience in the field of dentistry. I began my career in April 1999 as an office manager for a well-established dentist. During my tenure there, I gained a deep understanding of front office operations, insurance regulations, and Medicaid protocols. My passion for ensuring that patients have a great experience from the beginning of their visit to the end motivated me to learn how to assist the dentist with patients.

In the fall of 2000, I moved on to another dental office, where I applied my front office knowledge and expanded my skills as a dental assistant. Over the years, I honed my dental assisting skills, from taking accurate and clear X-rays to anticipating the dentist's needs to make procedures more efficient. As a result, I was promoted to Lead Dental Assistant, where I worked closely with the dentist to plan and execute treatment strategies for patients. I assisted in a variety of surgeries, including simple tooth extractions and implant placement for the All-on-4 procedures.

One of the things I enjoy most about dentistry is educating patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health and helping them achieve the smile of their dreams. I believe that every patient deserves to have a personalized treatment plan that takes their unique needs and preferences into account.

Hello, I am thrilled to share my dental journey with you. My fascination with oral health and teeth has been lifelong, and it led me to become a Certified Dental Assistant in Florida in the late 90s. I spent several years working closely with my dentist and patients, learning the ins and outs of dental procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Eventually, I transitioned to the front office, where I focused on billing and insurance. I quickly discovered that helping patients navigate the complex world of dental insurance and financing was incredibly rewarding. By educating patients about their coverage and exploring creative financing options, I found that I could help them get the dental treatment they needed and deserved.

Today, I am proud to be a part of a dedicated dental team in Texas. My passion for helping patients understand and access the care they need is stronger than ever. I work tirelessly to help our patients make the most of their insurance benefits and find affordable financing options when necessary.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of contributing my skills and expertise to both private and corporate dental offices.

My passion lies in oral surgery and endodontics, and I find immense joy in alleviating patients' discomfort. Witnessing the transformation of a patient's smile is not just a job for me; it's a true calling and source of fulfillment.

A native of Fort Bend for over 30 years, I take great pride in my community. Family holds a special place in my heart, as I am a caring wife and a proud mother of six wonderful children. Actively involved in their diverse activities, including football, baseball, wrestling, cheerleading, and school work, I am committed to being a supportive presence in their lives. Having graduated from B.F Terry High School, I maintain strong ties to my roots. Beyond the dental world, I find joy in enhancing people's beauty by styling their hair. I am a seasoned dental assistant with a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years, having dedicated my career to creating positive and comfortable dental experiences for patients. Born with a passion for dentistry, I underwent comprehensive training at Everest and Astrodome Career Center; I honed my skills and acquired the knowledge necessary for a successful career in the field.

Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working in many general dentistry private offices, gaining exposure to a diverse range of dental procedures. My expertise extends across cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, restorative treatments, and a multitude of general dental procedures. This breadth of experience has not only solidified my technical proficiency but has also allowed me to contribute significantly to the overall well-being of my patients.
